When a month is cheaper than the days in it
The monthly rate starts at 780 USD and buys 30 days. Against a daily rate of 40 USD, the month overtakes the day at about 20 days — so a stay longer than that costs less booked as a month than as the same nights counted individually.
Servicing, roadside assistance and the insurance cover that comes with every hire are inside the monthly price. What is not inside it is fuel and the distance beyond the daily allowance, both of which work exactly as they do on a short hire.
Long hires here are mostly three kinds of customer: somebody home for an extended visit, a project that needs a car for its duration, and a household whose own car is off the road. None of them needs a contract negotiated in advance — a month is booked the same way a day is.
What people ask before booking
Every rate includes 200 km a day. Beyond that it is 0.07 USD a kilometre, charged on what the odometer reads when the car comes back — so a long day out costs what the extra distance costs and nothing more.
Fuel is full to full. You collect the car with a full tank and bring it back full; nothing is charged for fuel you did not burn.
A late return has 120 minutes of grace before it counts as another day. The counter is staffed around the clock, so a delayed flight or a long road back is something to telephone about rather than something to be charged for.
Cancellation is free and no card is taken at booking. Choosing a car on this site holds it; nothing is paid until you collect it.
